We are lucky enough to be learning a musical instrument in year 4. This has helped us to understand and read music. It is noisy but lots of fun.

We have started our new science topic all about forces.

The children had fun acting out different forces including pushes and pulls.

In year 4 we took a maths challenge. We have been working together to use our reasoning skills to solve tricky problems including measures such as perimeter.

This term Year 4 have been studying programming. They have been learning how to use repeat and debugging their program in order to complete a task. They are much better at it then the teacher!

To remember and commentate the 100 years since World War I, we have designed poppies using plastic bottles. These will become part of a whole school display and each child has taken time to think about all the brave soldiers who have died in the war.

During October each class completed a retreat day. During this day Year 4 looked at how unique we all are and that it is ok to be different. We made yarn dolls to celebrate this.
